E-wasteland, from Lost Connections makes the front cover of PQ Magazine
Delighted to have made the front cover of today's PQ Magazine, which is a quarterly magazine distributed in The Guardian. There's also a feature on Human Nature's forthcoming shows – I've been invited to take part in the Bristol show, fingers crossed – the London show in October. This all came about from meeting two very talented artists, Carrie Reichardt and Mark, ATM – whose work I'd often admired on street art blogs. They visited Newport's Project Space in January. Carrie gave a talk and I had a chat with Mark afterwards…The next day, they took the time to visit my exhibition 'Lost Connections' which happened to be on at the time.
I'm really happy to be part of Human Nature and to be on PQ's front page is fantastic for me considering its UK circulation is 1.7million and they have over 60,000 Twitter followers…but not just that, what they stand for is more important.
Here's what they say, in their own words: PQ Magazine, distributed quarterly with the Guardian, is the UK’s biggest ethical title. With a balance of hard-hitting environmental discussion, interviews and reviews, we report on the inspiring green solutions that are being championed by consumers and businesses up and down the UK. We also showcase ethical companies you may not have heard of, and carry competition giveaways to give you the chance to experiment with their products without spending a penny. We all want a greener future, but we want to have fun getting there.
